In 2015, parang historian, vocalist and musician Khalil 'Yasseen' Ashraph had re-introduced Music Festival & National Parang Mandolin Champion Rico DG to Cuatro talisman Marc Paul ‘Hospey’ Hospedales, and the three formed a musical unison. They brought in Rico's 1st son Sergio Camejo – four-time Schools Soca Monarch Champion – to sing & play tenor bass. The sound from this quartet was infectious.
In 2018, they found the perfect complement with two women – Shauntel Marcano, a clinical maracs player & one of the sweetest voices from the hills of Paramin and Tinika Davis, professional percussionist. These paranderos spread the knowledge of authentic parang of the ole time days, with cutting arrangements and electrifying performances to excite even the most skeptical of patrons!
Today, even with La Mansión sleuth of new talented musicians, the journey continues with Rico DG at the helm to promote the traditional sounds of parang with a electrifying vibe! COMING TO A PARANG EVENT NEAR YOU!

The captain of the band. The founder of the Muzik Mansion. 4-time national mandolin champion & 3-time music festival parang winner.
He switches between mandolin and guitar during performances. One of the most electrifying performers in parang, all he wants is to provide comfortable outlets for his parranderos to thrive, and to continue building the legacy of La Mansión via live performances and the revitalizing of vintage parang via album recordings.

From singing at her preschool graduation at the tender age of 5 to leading the Jr Parang Choir to victory at SanFest competitions, Shauntel Marcano-Skeete has always had a passion for music.
She is the lead female vocalist of one Mansión, known not only for her captivating vocals but also as one of the country's top marac players.

Daughter of the Captain. Powerful voice. Specializes in singing a lot of the Soca Parang made famous by female vocalists.

Also the lead singer of Lara Brothers, Kendell is one of the sweetest male voices in parang. He loves singing with La Mansión as any opportunity arises.
He is also a masterful cuatrista.

Also the leader of UNA SOLA VOZ, Alwin first joined La Mansión in 2017, and supported the band ever since. He is one of the few box bass players that can actually find notes on the instrument.
