Rehearsals have begun! The R.B.O. (Reflections Brass Orchestra) went through a select repertoire of new calypso hits plus the legendary calypsos on Saturday 15th February.
Led my musical director Michael Germain, the orchestra practiced song after song by the greats Brother Valentino, Brother Mudada, Trinidad Rio, Poser, Lady Adana, King Luta, Wayne Dopson, and some surprise guest artistes.
Set against the lively backdrop of the belfry of St. Patrick’s R.C. Compound, this cooler event promises an unforgettable Wednesday evening of sweet kaiso, pulsating brass, and pure nostalgia. And if that wasn’t enough, the experience will be elevated with pan around the neck, finger-licking foods, and a soft bar to keep the vibes flowing.
