"The Muzik Mansion shall provide the live calypso band to back up the performing staff", says Enrico Camejo, Creative & Musical Director of the Mansion.  "It's a systematic procedure for us. The performers shall have a consultation and run-through of their calypso with the band leader.  The music shall then be scored and prepared for the band, and full band rehearsals commence for the big show.  The size of the band and the compliment of the brass section is pre-determined by the company's budget."

Pre-Covid-19, the calypso competition was a major part of the corporate Carnival celebrations in Trinidad & Tobago, especially with companies like TATIL, Petrotrin, Queen's Park Cricket Club, Republic Bank, WASA, Carib Brewery and Harvard Sports Club.  In fact over 12 years ago, legendary Calypsonian Lord Superior and his Superior Vintage Brigade movement promoted  'Corporate King of Kings', afterward renamed the Corporate Calypso Monarch Competition with over $100,000.00 in prize money.

It is a coincidence that Mr. Camejo is a new member and Executive of the same Superior Vintage Brigade, now managed by Musical Director Michael Germain and Stage Manager Ronnie Joseph.  The mission is to bring back that creativity, passion, joy, teamwork, and boost morale among the workforce in corporate entities around Trinidad & Tobago, using the Carnival season as the driving force.

"If needed, the Muzik Mansion has a network of suppliers to produce the event: management teams, tents tables & chairs, decor, caterers, stage, lighting, DJs, EmCee services and more.", Mr. Camejo added.  "We have already gotten a number of requests, so the schedule for February will be totally booked soon.  Big brass calypso bands sound MAJESTIC, and add value to any Carnival event.  I pray that we are doing our part in society to keep live brass in Carnival, and to bring back what was once prominent to the foreground.  It is for the good of the comradery and a natural morale-booster in entities, and excellent for the sustainibility of Carnival, too."
