St. Xavier's Private School and St. Joseph's Convent, St. Joseph collaborated to put on one of the best cooler fetes ever at the Garden Sanctuary, Macoya on Saturday night.
JUST THE TWO OF US the cooler fete was powered by MANG PRODUCTIONS and promoted by SW LIMITED, an entertainment company owned by one of the most electrifying performers Shurwayne Winchester. The event was a fundraiser in support of the both schools.
The cast of entertainers included Ultimate Rejects, Jadee, Nishard M and
Nadia Batson. Shurwayne was the last act with the live band Y.O.U. that included Gerion 'Drummerville' Williams, DJ Kamau, Akshay Bissoon and Enrico Camejo aka Rico DG. That performance brought down the house.
It was Rico DG's first performance on a Carnival Stage for 2025, and he really enjoyed it as evidenced on his Instagram post. This is Rico's 15th year officially as the guitarist with Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons and the Vikings, but continues to perform with his former entity Y.O.U. whenever he can. "My 1st show with the Vikings is carded for 9th February...I believe that's PREStige at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy..."
It's possible that even with a packed schedule with the Vikings, you may see Rico DG on guitar with Shurwayne Winchester and Y.O.U. at their Premium Inclusive Breakfast event, Addiction!
